The Custom Cabinetry Process
1. Reach Out
When you have made the decision to move forward with us, go ahead and reach out. For your own benefit, send us photos of your existing space and photos of what you hope we can help you with. Doing so, allows us to more have a much better understanding of your needs. Any drawings are also welcome. Fill out our form or email us directly at gilbert@custommicashop.com
2. Phone Call
A scheduled 15 minute phone call allows us to dig into your vision, timeline, potential costs, and get you some answers up front. If you wish to proceed, we will schedule an In-home Consultation for a fee of $250.00. This cost is deducted your from project when a final contract is signed.

3. In-Home Assessment
We come to gain more in depth knowledge of your space, record our measurements and recognize your decisions on colors, cabinet/door styles, and upgrades. It is highly suggested that you visit our Learning Center before hand!
4. Contract Agreement
After finalizing decisions on the kitchen layout, materials to be used, and scheduled installation date, we will send out our final proposal for you to sign. At this point we collect our initial deposit to begin purchasing of materials.

5. Design Agreement
It is our turn to start producing a 2D drawing of your space. Once received, you can now begin to envision the end result but still may want to make a minor change or two. Honestly, this is okay and very natural. We will revise the drawings and produce a final drawing to be signed off.

6. Installation and Walkthrough
Installation typically lasts 2-3 days barring any unforeseen issues. After clean up, together we perform a “walkthrough”. If there is anything to be perfected, we’ll take care of it.
7. Production Begins!
From final design agreement, this phase can take 6 to 8, or 8-10 weeks depending on the size of the kitchen. We get to work and can’t wait to play a role in helping you improve your home! Any questions and concerns are welcome along the way. We will send out some helpful information to help you prepare for the final phases of your project.

8. Follow Up and Photos
The goal is for your project to turn out the way you wanted. To reassure that this happens we will contact you 3 weeks and 3 months after completion. Once countertops have been installed, may we ask for a photos of your new space? This would allow us to share with future homeowners who are possibly in the same place of concern and wonder that you were in before this whole process started!
